Overpriced and disappointing.
I've eaten my share of meatball subs, but this was easily the most I've ever paid for an airport quality sandwich. At $26, I expected something special. … More

Firstly, the Reuben sandwich, featured; a toasted Rye with Pastrami, pickles, sauerkraut and cheddar. The pastrami, sourced from LP’s meats, was soft, fatty, salty and delicious. This was perfectly complimented by the medium strength, robust yet buttery cheddar. The vinegary tastes from the pickles and sauerkraut helped to balance the savoury, creamy tastes. An overall beautiful sandwich.
The Tuna cheese melt featured a lemon peppery tuna with onions pickled in a red wine vinegar. The cheese combo was nice with the tuna, tastes of mozzarella and cheddar, with a slight mustardy tang. This sandwich was quite simple, nice, but nothing out of the ordinary.
The Porto burger was like a Bondi burger on steroids. It featured a milk bun with tender chicken thigh, Peri peri chilli sauce, shredded lettuce and mayo. The burger was almost creamy tasting and the chicken was cooked nicely. It had a nice healthy taste, but seemed to be missing out on zesty components.
Overall, these sandwiches were pretty well put together, the Reuben was fantastic, the others could be a little improved. We will be back to try out their Schnitty and deli combo sandwiches in the future. Thanks Frank’s.

Frank's Deli, Waverley. Right, so, my Kiwi mate, bless his cotton socks, dragged me to this place. Now, let's be honest, his taste in… well, anything… is usually questionable at best. But Frank's? Holy moly, this place is a revelation. … More

Tried their all-day breakfast sandwich with pastrami. The overall taste is okay if you bite just once or twice, and the pastrami is not dry. However, the fat and meat ratio is a bit disappointing. I got like 60% fat? A couple of the cuts are just pure fat. More

The Steak Fritz baguette was honestly so good that I’m already thinking of going back. Crispy fries, decadent buttery and herby sauce with a kick from the anchovies and tender steak, couldn’t ask for more. More

First time visitor to this place and I can see why it’s so popular. Had the Reuben sandwich which was delicious, not overly salty or oily but the homemade chilli oil gave it a lovely kick. The bread was really nice and overall it was great. … More

I tried the Reuben toasted and it was really good ! It was very fresh and the pastrami was clearly made fresh and tasted awesome although for the $20+ I paid for the sandwich I expected more meat in it. I get its the eastern suburbs but a bit more meat wouldve made the sandwich 10 out of 10. The sauce was great and love the extra pickle on top.
The lady who made my sandwich was super friendly and accommodating. The place has a good vibe to it playing old classics in the back ground.
Ill come back and try some more of the menu looks good

I had been wanting to try their sandwiches so I ordered their Three Cheese Melt sandwich through UberEats. What I got was a burnt and inedible sandwich. There was no “melt” to the sandwich, the cheese was burnt and crunchy.

Franks can do no wrong in my eyes! Every single thing I have ordered from here has slapped - specifically the chicken apple sanga, steak & fries baguette and the caramel bread thing (don’t know the name). The coffee is always on point, you can collect some nice groceries and the staff are always friendly and the environment is light - the perfect place to read and book and enjoy and sanga + coffee. Highly recommend you visit

So glad I finally got around to coming to Frank’s. As a local, I have been meaning to try Frank’s for a couple of months and it did not disappoint.
The Reuben was incredible. I liked that it wasn’t too meat heavy and the quality of the bread, sauces, and garnishes also shone through.
The chicken sandwich would have been great if we hadn’t tried the Reuben as it was the real star.
We wanted to try ALL the baked goods but we settled on getting the focaccia and the cheesecake. The cheesecake was divine- very light, well balanced, and well complimented by the strawberry and rhubarb sauce.
Finally, our server Mia was delightful. She was super friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable about all the different products.
Will be back 💛

I had a craving for a reuben sandwich and it did not disappoint! My boyfriend got the meatball sandwich which left me with extreme fomo! After trying it, I will think of little else until I eat it again!
We are already planning our next visit as we saw some other menu items come out to other customers! I also rate the coffee which is saying something as I’m a coffee snob!
